It is your wedding clothes trial and after multiple visits, a bunch of fabrics and finally you face the mirror looking like a charming Prince/Princess. To your dismay, a stunning back at you is a black hole in your yellow looking teeth, a well-defined contrast with your beautiful pearl white wedding costume. So if you are a bride/groom to be, your trial date should not be the day you realize your smile must shine to the occasion you are preparing for!! Here are some to-do lists, if you are conscious of the way you look for your wedding. Some consecutive dental treatments can take longer than a few weeks. Be sure that you get that desired smile within the time frame you have.

One week to One-month time frame

Glazing Smile:

Teeth jewellery is a fun-loving trend which involves sticking a flat gemstone of any shape and colour and absolutely no drilling or damage to your teeth. You end up with a sparkling tooth.

Discolouration – yellow / black colour smile:

Bleaching (Teeth whitening) helps to get whiten teeth that have been stained or darkened, which cannot be removed with regular cleaning (Scaling). There are home bleaching / in-office bleaching techniques; whichever is comfortable can be done to get the desired result.

Big/crooked teeth:

A misshaped tooth that doesn’t suit face can be made just fine to achieve a perfect smile by a simple contouring procedure. This makes the teeth look even more aligned and symmetrical.

Spacing in teeth / chipped teeth:

Mild gaps or broken teeth can be rectified by tooth coloured fillings/restorations that are bonded to an ideal shape, size and colour. This makes the teeth look younger and beautiful and finally, the result is a pretty smile.

One month–Six Months Time Frame

Small Teeth:

If you are not happy with the size of your teeth, which has restricted your smile, then there is a solution with veneers, which are thin facings like contact lenses, which cover the teeth 180 degrees in front to get perfect size and colour. Jacket crowns are another solution which covers the teeth 360 degree, all-round to change the size and colour of the teeth.

Gummy Smile:

When too much gum tissue is exposed while smiling, we get a gummy smile. Fortunately, a gummy smile can be corrected by a simple laser procedure. Gum discolouration can be corrected by a gum depigmentation technique. Gum lifts, another dental procedure that raises the gum line. This is done to create longer or more symmetrical teeth.

Missing teeth:

Dental bridges are used to replace one or more missing teeth. The procedure involves replacing missing teeth which is cemented into place with the help of abutment tooth. Dental Implants are another procedure in replacement of missing tooth. The implant device made of titanium is inserted into bone and the dental crown or denture is connected to the implant through the abutment.

Six months and more

Jaw and bite problem:

Irregular teeth, forwardly placed teeth/jaws, the spacing between teeth, can be corrected by various new technologies, involving initially fixed appliance treatment (Braces). Braces are either metallic/invisible type. Treatment involves realigning the teeth and pushing the teeth backwards. Supposedly, if the jaws are forwardly placed, after the required investigation procedure, the necessary jaw surgeries can be done. Various surgeries include. Jaw correction, lip correction, chin augmentation, nose correction etc. All you need to do is plan a little in advance and leave your worries aside.
